The left side of the picture is theΒ waxing side.

The right side of the picture is the waning side.

There is only one star and that star is a ball of gas (sun).

The moon has nine different phases. It takes 28 and a half days for the phases to orbit around the Earth once.

Three of the phases of the moon are called the FIRST QUARTER , THIRD QUARTER AND THE WAXING CRESCENT.

Good job Ella i like the way you have used waning and waxing in bold, there is nothing you have done that i can criticize your work. Other than push the information a little bit more.

Ella I like the fact that you used bold writing to show actually what you are talking mainly about. It’s good that you know about the phases but maybe you could of written a bit more okay?
